1. Scope and business information

2. Services

Iulia’s Effect offers massage and wellness services, including Brazilian lymphatic drainage, myofascial massage and buccal (intraoral) massage, as described on the website. Unless expressly stated otherwise, services are wellness treatments and do not replace medical diagnosis, medical advice, physiotherapy or healthcare provided by qualified healthcare professionals. Individual experiences and results vary; no particular result is guaranteed.

3. Client responsibilities and suitability

Clients must provide accurate booking details, arrive on time, disclose relevant circumstances that may affect treatment safety (for example, relevant health conditions, injuries, allergies, recent procedures or pregnancy), and communicate discomfort or concerns during the session. We may modify, postpone or decline a treatment where reasonably necessary for safety. Where in doubt about suitability, clients should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

4. Booking and confirmation

Appointments may be booked through Wix Bookings or other channels made available by Iulia’s Effect. A booking is confirmed when the applicable booking process is completed and confirmation is provided. Clients are responsible for checking the selected treatment, date, time and duration.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in Swiss francs (CHF) unless otherwise stated. The price communicated at the time of booking or purchase applies to that transaction. Available payment methods and whether advance payment is required will be shown during the relevant process. Price changes do not retroactively change an existing confirmed booking or purchased package, except where agreed or required by law.

6. Cancellation and rescheduling

More than 24 hours before the appointment: clients may request cancellation or rescheduling without a late-change charge, subject to the booking conditions. Less than 24 hours before the scheduled start: cancellation and rescheduling requests are non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law and the conditions disclosed at booking. For prepaid packages, the session may be deducted for a late cancellation or no-show only where this condition was clearly disclosed and accepted and is legally enforceable. For individually paid appointments, any late cancellation charge must be communicated in advance and comply with applicable law.

No-shows and late arrivals: failure to attend may be treated under the cancellation policy disclosed at booking. Late arrival may require a shortened session so as not to affect subsequent appointments; any charge must be consistent with the disclosed booking terms and applicable law.

If Iulia’s Effect cancels, we will inform the client as soon as reasonably possible and offer rescheduling or an appropriate refund for a prepaid service that cannot be provided. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

7. Treatment packages

Each package description should specify the number of sessions, eligible treatments, price and validity period. Unless the offer states otherwise, packages are for the purchasing client, are non-transferable and must be booked subject to availability. For a package advertised as five sessions valid for six months, the five eligible sessions must be used within the six-month period stated at purchase. Unused sessions and late-cancellation deductions are subject to the terms disclosed at purchase and mandatory law. Packages cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law or agreed in writing.

8. Refunds and changes

Refund eligibility depends on the service purchased, whether it has been provided, the cancellation conditions and mandatory legal rights. A completed service is not automatically refundable solely because a client does not experience a subjective or individual result, provided the service was supplied in accordance with the agreement and applicable law. Requests concerning unused package sessions will be considered under the package terms and applicable law. Nothing here excludes mandatory Swiss statutory rights.

9. Consent and treatment precautions

Clients should inform us of relevant circumstances that may affect treatment suitability. For buccal or intraoral massage, the nature of the procedure will be explained before it begins. The client must consent before intraoral work and may ask questions, request a modification or withdraw consent at any time. We may decline or discontinue treatment where it appears unsafe or consent is absent or withdrawn.

10. Results and testimonials

Descriptions, testimonials and before-and-after images, where published with appropriate permission, are illustrative or informational and do not guarantee that another client will achieve the same outcome.

11. Conduct and personal belongings

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings. We expect respectful conduct toward the practitioner and others at the premises. Inappropriate, threatening or abusive conduct may result in a session being discontinued or future bookings being declined, subject to applicable law.

12. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, website text, photographs, graphics, branding and other original materials are owned by or used with permission by Iulia’s Effect. They may not be reproduced or used commercially without authorisation, except where permitted by law.

13. Website and third-party services

Website and booking functionality may depend on third-party providers, including Wix and payment services. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the website. Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

14. Liability

Iulia’s Effect will provide services with reasonable care and attention. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by mandatory Swiss law, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence to the extent applicable.

15. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Swiss data protection legislation. Please consult the separate Privacy Policy on our website.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, booking procedures or legal requirements. The current version will be published on the website. The terms applicable to a particular booking or purchase are determined in accordance with applicable law and the conditions communicated and accepted at the time.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law, subject to mandatory legal provisions. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts under applicable Swiss jurisdiction rules. Nothing in this clause deprives consumers of mandatory rights concerning jurisdiction.
